Two homemade instruments, collected from my introspection notebook.
The virtuegraph is an instrument for practicing virtue: a month-long graph of daily practices — habits to build, vices to block, registrations of experience — designed and redesigned as the practice itself evolved.
Runge is a color notation system and palette generator inspired by Goethe’s colour explorations and Philipp Otto Runge’s colour sphere, treating color as hierarchical data.
They are related: both are attempts to give shape to something that resists measurement.
